Initially based in Moscow, I liaised with the architect, structural engineers, arial equipment supplier etc and the ceremonies producers to detail the structural, electrical, data and related requirements.

In the second phase I was the project lead for the full team in Sochi, where I was the sole representative. In addition, this phase required detailed liaison with the construction company, infrastructure suppliers, and local and national government representatives.

Maintain accurate project timelines with detailed reporting templates and critical path analysis. 1) Survey and assessment

An historical understanding of the requirements at each of the above three stages enabled the appropriate level of refinement to be specified. Detailed understanding of the needs in each Discipline, Utility and Functional Area enabled the efficient use of resources at each stage in the process of specification.

Challenges:- Legacy issues relating to the FIFA world cup led to a hostile attitude to sporting events in some areas of Brazilian society and government. The unwillingness of the organising committee to address shortfalls between the I.O.C. commitment and their ability to deliver.
